Kayla is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than fifteen years of dedicated experience in pediatric medicine.

Her career began as a pediatric registered nurse, a role she held for nine years. That experience shaped her holistic perspective on care—one grounded in clear communication, thoughtful education, and strong partnerships with families.  Since 2021, she has exclusively specialized in pediatric orthopedics, where she is known for her compassionate, family-centered approach and her commitment to helping children heal, grow, and thrive.

Kayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Michigan State University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Oakland University, where she trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

In her current practice, Kayla focuses on the urgent and follow-up care of pediatric fractures, guiding young patients safely through recovery and back to the activities they love. She also provides long-term management for musculoskeletal conditions such as limb length discrepancies, malalignment, and scoliosis, working closely with families to navigate bracing and other non-surgical treatment options.

Outside the clinic, Kayla’s greatest joy is raising her two children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active in her community, and cheering on her favorite Michigan teams.
